personally id love to get my hands on it, but seein as i want a dual AMD system, i cant get an FX cos the mbaord wont support agp8x

Hard to say until some actual benchmarks come out, but i think it will be. Discreet are doing some sort of patch for Max which will take advantage of the new nv30 features - if A|W do the same then it'll definatly be worth getting!"but is the FX really worth that long wait and that high price tag?"
I'll be getting one at the same time Doom3 comes out
my ti4200 will last out til then no worries.

probably not. the chip of course will be able to handle both, but nvidia might stick with one driver for games and one for premium price for graphics.Originally posted by Nem

i am only speculating. if i were a business man, and could sell a blue car to lots of ppl for $100, and then have the same car painted in red (same production cost) which looks faster and sell it to a few ppl that are willing to pay $10000. then why would i not paint the car red as "limited" edition and have the majority drive the boring cheap blue carOriginally posted by Nem
