Edward Scissorhands

this is a remake of Edward scissorhands played by Johnny Depp in 1990, i remodelled it in the style of Tim Burton's animations "the corpse bride" and "nightmare before Christmas"
i made him in 5 days starting Monday and finishing Friday evening. he is going to be a demo reel piece i should have a turntable animation ready tomorrow, check back then for that

Ha! Cool, it has that innocent creepiness going on, like it should. Only thing I can crit (and this is just my personal taste) the feet look a tad too flat, but I don't think it takes away from the work anyways.

nice job mate - you've done a really good job - especially capturing the look of the animations. I might lose the background, as it looks a little weird with him standing on some floating floor boards - and also the perspective is not lining up.

well done! user added image

Well done!

we should ask David to sort out portfolio accounts for here for people to stick their best work in.

yes this is awesome...but i agree with the feet, they do look a bit flat but overall, i love it.... and as far as Jay said, I think there should be a portfolio section for best work as well as getting that Gallery to work...I would to see this in the Gallery

i think the dark shadow is making the feet look flat at first glance

Very nice job tadpole3159! "the corpse bride" style is a bit thinner and taller but your work is still really good! user added image

I'm a big fan of this, it looks really good, keep it up. I always try to go for a Tim Burton esque style but either get too detailed or something else makes it not look that way. But you seemed to nail it, good job.
