Hi Chirone. Thank You for Your advice. I am using 3ds max. Is that option available on 3ds max? I decited to make a fauintain in a square. I have on my mind this picture of How I want this to be. And I want water comming out of a sword fishes. So I started working a bit on that. I have a wired way of modeling but I get cool results sometimes. Thanks againe Chirone.

that is a cool fountain design there

you still need to soften the normals on your building with the round corner and also the edges on your fountain so they look round

i'm guessing this auto-smooth function you found actually smoothed the object. so it added more edges and softened them

perhaps ask on simplymax how to soften normals?

Looks like the city square from Back to the Future. HEHE

good progress so far, but personally don`t think the plant pots are working under the trees.

Hi tweetytunes. Thanks for the comment. Are You saying the pots are to big or to small?

What I`m saying is they just would not happen.

The roots for trees that big would never fit in a space that small.

What usually happens is the tree is planted in the floor and a base is built around that.

I think it takes abit of the real aspect out of your scene with the pots in there.

There is it with some textures and basic lights. I will change the pots for the trees to something allse latter. I have to think of a design first.
