Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Why do materials change transparency based on angle

Why does Maya choose (by default) change an objects transparency based on the angle of view?

In the 3 renders attached the glass (Lambert with a blue color and transparency) that is rendered on a more extreme angle seems invisible?

Also how can I change this so that on any angle that the transparency color and what ever else is consistent?

PS. I doubt anyone will get back to me on this because whenever I leave questions, no replies... :'(
