Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

wake help?

I'm trying to learn how to use wakes, and am having limited to no success. For one, it seems to make just a circular wake deformation, and it makes a crazy spike in the middle.

Also, does anyone know where to set the number of waves in the wake? I've looked all through the fluid and emitter objects, but canno find a setting.

I'd very much appreciate any tips that you all could bestow upon me.

Thanks,
-dann

1. Are you doing this on a pond fluid or an ocean fluid?

Sorry to ask, but it matters.

Looks like a calm ocean, but I wanna be sureuser added image
