Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Panzer V Panther Ausf A

This is a model I have been working on for the last 3 weeks or so.

It is done using a combination of NURBs and Polygons.

Main techniques:

NURBs: Lofting and extrusions of curves
Polygons: vertex manipulation and extrusions of faces

It is also my first modelling project so any advice, pointers would be great

it's good. lots of detail, although the plat on the wheels looks papir thin. you could extrude that out abit.

I'll have a fiddle with the wheels and see.

As you can see they are quite thin IRL though.
