modelling muscles

ello,

when shaping arms into muscle how do you go about it? I have a smooth poly arm which I want to make a much more defined muscular surface. Is it ok to cut up the mesh to get exactly the right shape you are after or do you need to be much more structured, i.e. follow the rest of the surface edges etc?

cheers

yeah sorry that is what I meant by 'cut it up'.

do you have to be careful how and where you split, incase it shows up after smoothing and rendering?

cheers kurt
