In the attribute editor, go to raytracing options, and turn on reflections. The material you're using may also not be capable of reflections.

Well thanks for the input.. It appears my material will not properly support the reflection. When i enabled it even with some tweaking the eyes all turned a bright white.. Blah!

Ill just continue on track and waybe I can work the reflections into a layer later..

You can simply use a blinn or anistrophic texture. They have the best reflectivity.
