Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Need help with something

Hey,

iam new to maya and when i was wacting some of the tutorials on this site and i saw that i dident have a edit nurbs/poloygon tab and was wondering where/how could i get the tab there.

here the part that i circled, on the tutorials there is many more tabs and iam wondering where/how do i get those tabs there

okay this is something that happens alot ot new people ..you see where the box is and it says animation ? well use the drop down and put it to modeling cause that is what you are doing


modeling in box

then the menu's will change

display->UI elements->show all I think.

Either show all or something like it.

just click on the arrow down and change from animation to modeling and there you have it ...have attached pics ..forgot the pics on last post

I suggest using the hotbox instead. when on one of the display windows, hold down the space bar (don't tap it) and all of the menus come up. then pick from them.

You can also use F1 to F5 to change between those menus. Just another method, but that's the one that i prefer.
