Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

I'd like to see more structure to the torso. Just looks like a big ball at the moment.

Coming along nicely.

i like it and the textures, i think the eyebrow is too in sync witht he eye. It shouldnt wrap aroun dit so neatly. And maybe give it more definition on the top of it. It will probbaly make him look mad or pissed off.

Will his weapon be the shield or is that like a secondary weapon? A club would be stereotypical, but asthetically pleasing.

I think the feet are a littl flat, and a shoulder belt would make him look better in my opinion, really wide old style bucke with something hanging from it. Like an old stone style axe or a pouch with something in it he could use in the fight.

i think the animation is pretty smooth in the legs, but give the arms a little more movement in the elbows especially, looks a little too stiff. Might want to give the stomach a little bounce and the head some movement so show hes not so stiff.

Also giving him a slouch would help in my opinion.

Excellent start mumbo, I would get the shoulders and hips moving into the punchs and kicks a bit more as he's a bit static just now.
