I have some cool memories of A-10s. Back in the 80's I was visiting my sister in England as her previous husband was in the air force and was stationed over there for like 15 years. He took my dad (a real aviation buff, used to work on P-51D's in the Air Nat'l Guard) and myself to the "wash" to watch A-10s and Jaguars going through target practice on the range.

The front canon on the A-10 is UBER-loud. They'd fly by and you'd see a small puff of smoke then hear what sounded like a fart from the Gods....loudest thing ever....startled the crap out of me and almost dropped my camera off the tower. I ended up getting one of the shells afterwards....can't remember what size for the A10's canon - 33mm rounds or 60...something like that.

thanks guys, the mesh isnt that clean it's got a fair bit of non planar polys in there, but I will get rid of them eventually.

Thanks for the comments I will try and post some renders today if I get time.
