Default How to use DGS material?

Has anyone seen any info on using custom Mentalray shaders, such as the DGS Material? I've read alot of threads at cgtalk and highend about them but nothing specifically on getting started with them.

TheGuyWithGlasses: Make sure that the Mental ray plug-in is enabled. Then in the hypershade, where it says "Maya nodes", click and hold, and choose mental ray nodes.
