I think my mate got the small Intuos4 mate. He does a lot of photography and uses PS a lot. He loves it but it seemed a little small for me. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it??? I want one for when I eventually get around to organics and would like it for PS...price is the problem as you can see.

yeah, when i do use it it's awesome!
it works way better than my old genius tablet, it just sits here inside the black plastic thing that it came in where a mouse pad would be and relocates when i use my mouse...

..or if i'm not actually needing either it stays there and the mouse gets my chair as a mouse pad

I would go for a Intous I think.

I use a tablet a bit so its something that I would use and get the usage out of it.

I wouldn't say go for the largest. I have an A4 tablet and you wouldn't think it would be that big but it feels like it takes a week to do a stroke. Still, it might also depend on your screen size. If you have a 27" screen then a larger tablet might seem more appropriate.

Bl**dy heavy too....
