Don't worry...I am pretty new to 3D myself....I cannot model in Polys or Sub-D's yet, only in NURBS, so, yeah..... I am still a complete newbie when it comes to that. :bored: Good luck though, graywolfs_moon! Maybe post a concept sketch so we can see what your idea is going to be. user added image

You won't need luck. There are tons of friends on the forum that will help, guide and assist whenever they can. The tutorials are fantastic, and there's even an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel you can use to pop in and talk to fellow mayans LIVE user added image

I wish you tons of fun and new knowledge. Welcome to the challenge.

Oh No!!!

I am sorry but I don't think I will go any further with this competition. I need to study a little bit more. I've seen the other entries and can't even make a pumpkin...lol. Would someone please delete my entry?

dude you should not worry about the other entries, let the other people worry about them, you got a whole month to learn how to do a pumpkin, to tell you the truth I still haven't tried to model a pumpkinuser added image, all I can say is give it a go.

Don't worrie about it, we won't laugh. It's always contrusctive to put your work up and get feedback. That's partly how you learn.
