This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Help - should I use these ????

I have a few videos/ play-blasts of my nCloth work from the movie I was working on but none of them are final shots and I have no way of sorting them out any more. I have no other work showing off my nCloth work apart from these vids, but worried about them coming across as un-pro like.

Can you guys plz take a look and tell me if I should use them in my show reel or not.

Playblasts

Rendered but not finished

let me know if the videos are too small and I upload some larger ones.

Dont really know mate, can you render them off at all?? As that might help it out.

If it was me and I was going to show off my ncloth skills I think that I would have the cameras closer in, kinda with the camera going parallel to the walk to show off the cloth's movement and interaction, rarther then the whole shot as it is at the mo.

Cheers

Steve

can`t change any of them - they were all partly completed shot from the movie.

I no longer have the scene files - just full rez videos of the examples above 1280 X 720 (hd I think) so I might get away with zooming in a bit as my show reel will be in standard pal format

Yeah thats a HD format, I really dunno mate if I would use them, like I said if your showing off your work then I would like to see a closer shot of the cloths movements/interactions etc etc, then again it might work with some other shots to show that and these as a completed shot??

Arr good news I have been sent the rod file by one of the animators who was working on the project and there fore I can get this rendered - hopefully. Don`t have the animation on the model but she is going to do some animations for me if I setup and render the cloth for her. - a good deal me thing. so hopefully I can get some good stuff here yippy pee.
