Default Rigging Question

I was thinking about rigging up my gundam some what soon, is it pretty much the same concept as rigging an organic model?

It is pretty much the same, except instead of using a smooth bind, you can generally just use a parent constraint to constrain the geo to the bones. Hope that helps.
