converting scene into game map

i recall some1 a while back some1 making a city map for unreal tournament. i want to kno how to convert my maya scene into a playable map for quake 3. any help would be highly appreciated.

ok iv found a plugin for this but it is for maya 5 and it gives me an error about the version difference when i try to load the plugin.

fraid I've not messed with Unreal's editors and such and don't know.

Chances are you will need to find the plugin that matches your version of Maya. Many Maya 5 plugins will not work with Maya 6.

As far as building levels for Quake, your best bet would be to use QuArK (Quake Army Knife) to construct the levels. It will provide you with the most options for getting things to work properly.
