Maya confusion

Hey, well my problem is that im not quite sure on what i did to make this happen so anythang ya got lemme hear it thx... i was moving some verticies and i accidently hit something so now im not able to move verticies where i want, they seem to be sliding on a grid system of intergers, 1, 2, -1, -2--yea my snaps are off--yet its odd why this is happening... so any suggestions are fine by me thx again.

Try this, hold down 'W' and press the left mouse button and check to see if 'Snap Move' is checked. If it is, uncheck it.
