This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
A glass mia_material (there are presets) with refraction glossiness paired with a low weight white translucency would create a look like that. If you're using it on flat panels, I'd go with using interpolated refractions (in this case I'm using 16 samples) instead of refraction glossiness as its quicker to render(not as physically accurate) but on a flat surface it still looks good. So there you have choices.
