This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

it all depends really. it varies depending on a lot of things. number of passes, distance from camera, fur LOD, number of hairs, etc

although, i usually have an average about 1.5hours per frame, using about 12gig of memory.

Had no idea you worked on that Super Bowl spot, I heard a lot about that one when it was on (even though I didn't watch the game)! I definitely like your work mate, I'll be watching this thread.
