Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

extend time of animation

I have an animation set up of a mobile phone that opens and then rings etc etc.
Anyway I feel that the animation is too quick. All the action happens too fast. How can I extend the time ie slow the animation down without undoing all my keyframes?

You could select all objects you've animated and scale the keyframes in the graph editor.

Another way is to open your animation prefs and set the new length for your animation. With the object selected, hold shift and click on your first keyframe and drag right until you get to your last keyframe, everything should be highlighted red. You'll see an arrow on the last keyframe pointing right, drag it to end of the time line.
