Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Hide Polygons

Does anyone know how to hide SOME polygons of an object ?
The only way I found was to detach the part I wanted to hide and combine it back afterwards. Rather tedious ...

Thanks

you can select the polygons you want to keep and then use the view menu in the panel and then select "isolate selected". It will hide all of the unselected polys
