Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

the cartoon dog.
it covers pretty much the basics of modeling. the dog is simple yet it has a cool cartoony look.

there are also many websites to get free tuts (i posted on where to get tuts, though i dont know where that thread is). i think teh best place is digitaltutors.com. they offer top quality tutorials. and they have an insane amount of dvds to chose and buy from.
there are over 200 free tutorials on there website but you have to watch em online. heres a link: https://www.digitaltutors.com/digital...s.php?cat=maya
on the right a left side of the cool looking television there are the different categories of tuts.

hope this helps!

A pint of example is worth a gallon of advice!!
