Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Maya is freaking out on me now!

HELP!
This is only one object, not another poking through. Why is it doing this?

And one other question. I have made an object bigger, and rotated it. Is there any way I can make it think those are the default in the Channel Box. (IE: I have it rotated 45 degrees. Can I make it think 45 degree is the default, so it says 0 degrees?)

Not sure about what's going on in your scene, but as far as freezing your transformation....go to ...umm.....modify menu? Don't have Maya running right now, but under one of those menus you will find Freeze Transformations, that will put all values in the channelbox to 0 wherever your object currently lies user added image

Red bellows of flame have blackened my stones
Convulsing my frame and cracking my bones
Hell's dragons of steel who roar in their chains
Crawl into my caves to suck out my veins.....
