Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Elephants - Original SM Gallery Image by Ward

Images transferred from our old site. These elephants were modeled in Maya 4.5, rendered with Mental Ray and composited into the live background in Shake back in 2003. I think it's all done extremely well.

I was kind of thinking of him when I uploaded this to the gallery actuallyuser added image And the first one is great bullet you nutteruser added image look again at the lighting on the elephant and then look at the backplate it's composited onto. I would have gone for real as well.

They are really nice. I actually like the first one better then the second, cant really say as why that is but tis the case non the less. But i like them both, Great work.
