This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Whoa, this is amazing.. wonderful job! I love how you did the spikes . I still think the bumpmap on his chest doesnt work for him too well... but other than that, the green stuff is superb!

looking awesome, man...just a suggestion - i think the red on the feet is a little too intense - and you could tone down your blue and red lights a bit (the color, not necessarily the intensity)...also...when you have multiple lights - your main light should create a specular highlight...you can uncheck specular highlight and cast shadows on other lights (so you don't have mutliple highlights in the eyes, etc.) - it all depends on the effect you are going for...keep up the great work!!!
looking gooood bump on the back looks real nice..
on the belly id stretch the bump out more.. try setting the repeat to 2 on the U(?)
just so the bumps on his belly arent round but streched..
did that make sense?
Hey howard, personally i do think you should smooth out the creases you have in the chest..or do somethin with the bumpmap. I feel that the creases in his tummy area are too sharp to have a bump map like that. Thats just in my opinion . Still definately a work of art! BTW, i love how you present your renders, i dont think you ever just post a unedited picture, which is great!
I also like how you have basically modelled half of it and duped it over, but you also added some elements (the spikes) that are different on each side to give it that organic look.
