Very Simple

As far as the actual model I don't see any problem. You could make the legs a little longer. However it has a nice look as it. Next to where it has all of your rendering buttons on the far right select the "Display Render Settings" button. Use your maya software render the first tab will be Anti-Aliasing Quality take quality to production and Edge Anti-Aliasing to highest quality if it is in nurbs you may want to convert your model to polygons. You can bring the render quality up on nurbs but I'm not going into that much detail giving that the render might not even be the issue your seeing. Overall fantastic model.

In my opinion i think its "toes" are too long, you could probably shorten them significantly and possibly add some longer claws/tallons to give it a meaner look.
