Nov/Dec - Noob - Some Guy

Hello. It might be a bit late but i'm having a go.
I am goiung to make a yacht based on a model that my Gandad gave to me. This it it so far.

It would have been niced to see your progress. We would also liked to see an image of the real item that "you" are creating.

post them up as jpgs or gifs so we dont need to download the image to view it

nice first image though, a reference shot would be cool to see how your doing and how much work you need to do user added image

Definitley need to keep your images below 640x480.


Interesting idea. Its going to be hard to re-create the dirt and dust on the real thing.

I have been trying and trying and trying to work out how to do the dust but i just can't get it to look right :headbang: Any suggestions would be very welcome

cool...the real one has dust on it...I saw a tutorial somewhere that shows how to add a thin layer of dust...Ill let u know if I find it

hey, I remebered the tutorial i saw was in a video made by Alias....advanced shading networks. But I found a site that had a dust shader...it had a few other cool shaders.
