Got a reference photo?

It helps to see what you're modeling and also for us to be able to help you with it. I can't tell you how to model something when I have no idea what it looks like.

You could create a curve path in the shape of the fenceing and then extrude a cylinder along the curve path. Then just duplicate the extruded cylinder until you have your fence built.

You've asked the same question in two threads with different pictures as to what you want to model?

do a forum search for 'chain link fence' cause i did a quick run-though that led to the creation of a regular chain-link fence.

Yeah, I'm thinking that you need to decide what you want to model first, then ask questions on how to model it. Don't change your idea right in the middle of an explanation.

Okay. I stand by my first reply.

Create a curve path and extrude a cylinder along the path. You can do that for the fence as well as the barbed wire. For the "barbs", just create one barb and then duplicate it along the path of the barbed wire.
