can someone help me out..plz

i'm trying to model a bike i started at the seat area.. but i cant seem to make these sharp creases that the bike has .. simple i need advice or whatever anyone can do to direct me with what i'm doing wrong or wat i need to do ..

i'm using maya .. i started with the create poly tool in the side view and then split up using the split poly tool here is some screen shots..
