Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I think we have around 50 new ones a day if not more, but most are just leechers

Well, speaking as a newbie, there are forum categories covering all aspects of Maya so you have to decide which forum is most appropriate to post in. Should I post a rendering question in the newbie forum or is it more appropriate to post it in the rendering forum? I tend to choose the specific category unless I feel I'm asking a really really basic question. Even after posting sometimes, I feel like...."Ech...that's probably too basic to post in anything but the newbie forum."

<-----------Newbie as well

Hey Guys,

I am a newbie and darn proud of it. I try to show my appreciation to the artists here at SimplyMaya becuase i have alot to learn and I am just thrilled I found this place. I have already leaned so much from your Free videos, tutorial links, and of course posts. By contributing to the forum, I give back to those who have ever so graciously helped me in one way or the other. I hope one day to be just as helpful to the newbies because regardless of your expericence level...we were all once newbies. We never stop learning...So Cheers to you all here at SimplyMaya from a newbie in Memphis, TN.

Warm Regards,
