Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Alias modelling and renderings

Alias and now part of Autodesk Empire including Design studio, Maya and Motion builder all excellent programs, what is still missing though a bit of 3D max easy to use, basic functionality such as easy rendering, easy saving of animation whichever animation format. I am not comparing the two software but asking Autodesk to include best of the two / or more software merge, like Catia took Solidworks's menu structure for easy to use.
what do you think?

Produced by Huddersfield University, Transport and Product Design students, as part of their final year projects. Students also create animations using Alias DesignStudio, Maya, 3D Max etc.

Please comments whether constructive or negative. It will helps us to restructure of students' future projects.

Students also create interactive 3D using Virtools which enable user do drive the virtools vehicles.

But how important for a BA Transport designer to create a virtools model is another issue

finally guess what software this car is modelled and rendered?

Was watching your Gundam fight, it was pretty awesome. You need to make a longer version. user added image
The movement seemed hella real. I had to look closer to see if its a 3d model or someone in a suit. lol
