I am really struggling to find information on careers in 3d in the UK

now im a straight A* student, im a member of mensa etc so my mum expects me to get a really well paying job

But i want to do something i enjoy, not that pays 60k (£) a year and i just want information on what kind of jobs are avaliable, what they pay, and what you need to do to get them

any help?

Depends on what you do to get further up the education ladder, your probably best off looking into that as what you learn as you go to uni will probably shape you in what you really want to do, modeler, texture artist, lighting tech, rigger, TD, programmer etc etc etc.

One thing I would say is keep it broard a the moment, but look to see what you need to get jobs (have a look on the Cgs jobs section to see requirements, and then as you find your footing in 3d a bit more go for the skilset that will help you in the future, its always worth noting that whatever you do in 3d, programming seems to help!
