Either the scenes not lit too good, or theres too much motion blur, because I cant even make out what the charcter is.

well it depends what you want to say with it...right now I only get the feeling you don't want to show the character...


..motion blur is mostly put on a character when it's in action but lookin' at this image...it doesn't has got much value...
maybe if you make a action position of the character and put a motion blur only at the action parts (like legs, or arms)

of course lighten the scene would be a good start to update this render...

Too Noisy too!! Just tone it down a little , or post a small version of it animated then we'll see what you're trying to do
