Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

char: creature alien

something i made today after pseudo realizm gave me a reminder of having variations in my models user added image
still an early wip. i'm not sure about the eyes yet, and i will add a row of 4 niples on each side.
tell me what you think.

wow... you got some kind of imagination there man.. hehe..i honestly cant think of anything to crit on at the moment.. i was going to say make his tail longer.. but since he's balancing on two legs there.. that would probly throw him off balance should he need to raise it for some reason.. so i dunno, i'll just end this with the classic .. looks great! I dont know if I dig the sucker, but otherwise I think its cool. Also I think you should make an actual shoulder bone and broaden them judging by the flow of the model..kinda like how you made the back of the head look shellish.. You should do that to the shoulders..
