Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

editing music

basically....

at the start of my clip there is some classical music that starts playing to set the mood and stuff. then in another scene there is supposed to be some country music playing from a radio. and then in the final bit there is some fast paced music that starts playing(the country music and the background music stop playing)

i was wondering if its possible to have two music files playing at the same time(possibly with different volumes) and if its possible to start a song from a certain point(say 0:30 into it so as to skip the intro) or would i have to use Premiere or adjust the start position of the song

What I would do is export the movie first [the maya movie], and add the sound in an oter applikcation, such as iMovie, Windows movie maker, etc. Theres always a way to get music free into your movie. And if the application dosen't allow multiple sounds playing at once, then cut up the songs in an application such as MP3 Trimmer [allows effects such as fade-in/out] and then add the induviduall sound files into windows movie maker/iMovie/Premier/whatever video editing application you have.
