Not much of an update, but here are a few shots of the Apache with all the pieces together.

Think I'm going to call the cockpit finished. It is missing quite a bit of detail, but I don't really have plans to get any close up shots of it. It should be enough detail just to form the silhouette of the interior.

Now just to add a few remaining details across the Apache, and the modeling should be done.

I'm not really sure to be honest. Definitely going to put it in an environment, but beyond that I have no idea.

Not really an update, but I wanted to play around with some lighting in V-ray to see how it would look outside of an occlusion render. I quite like how the light wraps around the shape, though I don't think this will be my final lighting setup.

I was looking at how the Apache sits on the ground, and I think I need to raise the tail end of mine up slightly, so it's not so tilted back the way it is now.

Thoughts?

Thanks bullet, that image helps quite a bit.

I dropped the front end a bit, and I think it sits on the ground better. I added a few more details, and I think I'm finally ready to call the model finished.

Now to start unwrapping it all. user added image

Haven't had much time to work on this, but I've been playing around with displacements and bump maps to put in the details along the body. They still need work, but I think it's heading in the right direction.
