Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Well, I tried to parent a volume light to an old project's cube.
That worked a little...

just make the antenae a blinn material, then go into its attributes and you should see glow in one of the collapsed menus, just uncollapse it and there should be a slider. Slide that and render the image until you get it about as much glow as you want..

thats easy, all u have to do is select the object, go to face mode, select the faces on antenna that u want to be glowed than just right click on them and do new material, blinn, do what ever colr u want, u should see special effects somewhere down the column, and just play with that bar :attn:

hope to see some updates

Looks great, love it. I think you need to smooth out your anttenas a little bit though. They have jaggered edges. Either increase the poly count on them or smooth them out. You could even try converting it to subD, to get a nice smooth surface.

There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
