Cutting holes in nurbs surfaces

Hi, referring to the attached image, I was wondering how I could cut a hole in the object on the right (made with CV curve tool) which is the same size and shape as the object on the left (cylindrical nurb primitive)

well you have a couple of options and which you chose depends on what you are trying to achieve.

1. if you simply want a hole you can use a curve and project it on to the nurbs surface and then perform trim

2. if you want to combine the parts with a fillet then you'd insert one so that it penetrates the other and perform a fillet operation (note both parts would have to be nurbs surfaces).
