Mental Ray - gone missing. help pls.
I recently and rather foolishly did a major system cleanup, and ran junk removers, registry cleaners and the works.
The next time i ran Maya, my mental ray rendering option was gone.
I even tried re-installing maya, but it's still gone.
I'm assuming i deleted a registry key by accident, or some file i need.
any ideas how to get it back? or what i need to add to the registry to fix this problem?

you can see that in the plugin manager:
window->settings/preferences->plug-in manager.
look for the plugin mayatomr.mll and see if loaded/auto load is ticked.. if not, do so and it should be back
