Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

linux gentoo problem!! help!

hi! im using maya on my RH7.3 with my own compiled kernel, im wondering if im going to change distro, (to gentoo) how can i install maya there and what files to i need,

eg.
maya is an RPM package? what other files that gentoo needed to run maya?

Hmmm...........I don't know anyone running it on anything other than RH in Linux, why are you switching?

i just want to maximize my hardware performance and to minimize my expenses! and i want to try something new, that wont even hurt my pocket!
