Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

backface culling

I have been building this model but discoered that I can only see the faces from 1 side. I believe this problem has something to do with backface culling but seem to be unable to fix it. I will upload some pics showing the problem and also to show how my options are set up for my polygon display. If anyone can help me resolve this matter it would be much appreciated.

cheers leon

Try display -> Component Display -> Backfaces. Maybe they were accidentally turned off. Hope it works. user added image

Happy you solved it. These sort of problems can really be annoying.
