Very cool man, i know maybe people have asked you this but i`m not gonna try and find it in these 19 pages user added image

So my question is, what is the big plan with all these cool looking objects?

You gonna build something big?

AikoWorld: thanks mate. user added image I am actually just building the office where i work - i'm trying to get it as close to the real thing as possible. i'm just finishing modeling and texturing the swivel chair and a few other bits and pieces and then i need to model all of the wires. i'm tempted to post some of the early test renders of the room that i did this weekend, but i think i'll wait until i get everything sorted. the fly was just a separate project that i did while waiting for my laptop to be repaired.

I really like your textures arran. Any chance you could post a couple of maps (for the chair in particular) and a few details? Like, resolution, how you made the fabric texture etc.

cheers

gubar - ok, here is the shader set up and a few of the color maps that i used on the chair.

i have a shader for the seat, one for the arms and body, one for the legs and one for the wheels. i readded the seat color map for the bump. the arms have a separate color, bump, spec, reflectivity and a transparency map cos i also used it in a layered shader along with a chrome shader for the pole in the middle of the chair. the legs have a color, spec and bump map. I also used a simple noise procedural texture for the wheel's bump and color maps.

the seat was done with a procedural leather texture that i converted to a file texture so i could paint the seam and some wear. the textures were all 2048, but i'm planning to reduce them to 512 for the final image. hope that helps. user added image

i like the look of that wireframe shot... loads of objects but still not very poly-heavy. nice job!
