Render issues

I just created an animated background for a logo that I am doing. But when I render to see what it would look like the background is black and only the forground objects can be seen. In my four views I can see the background and I can play it also. I may have accidentally clicked on something to cause this. Any help would be appreciated

Can you see it if you use Hardware Renderer?
