Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

rendering is off...

I've animated a decent voice over using the generic Blue Guy. In Maya, it looks and plays great. After rendering it, though, the voice and animation are off by a few seconds. I've played with the settings, to no avail... can someone help me?

i suggest you render your animation without sound in maya, and save your sound in an audio format by using software like Soundtrack Pro or Adobe SoundBooth then combine both your audio and video in quicktime, Shake or Nuke
