This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
I've been doing Maya for a little less then a week now and I'm proud to present my third creation in Maya
The photo is really simple since I didn't learn how to do alot of detail yet. The texturing I think in some areas are awesome and some just suck. Also sorry if the sky doesn't come together with the grass it just didn't happen.
The lighting is good for me because I didnt take any tutorials yet on lighting so I just added alot of area lights around until I thought it looked good.
So what do you think of it? Maya for 1 week, modeled everything without a tutorial.
hey Zohar0, since youved been working on maya for less than a week, it looks really good from what you have done... crit i got is that when i look outside it looks abit wierd because the sky is like touching the ground ... haha well its your first week using maya soo dont fuse about it but next time, keep that in mind cheers man, marlon
its alright anytime btw another little tip for making it not too obvious is that, instead of blending it in is that you can try by changing the camera view and making it soo an object is infront of its way so you dont see the sky and floor join...just a throught though, hehe :p
uh i don't know about anyone else here, but i've never seen it where the sky DOESN'T touch the ground... cause if there's no sky and no ground, what is there? it can't be just nothingness...
Well hills would make it better. Or a swingset. You dont usually see an exact 90 degree angle from the grass to the sky. Hills with paint effects would look more real probably. Texturing is just flat on the ground.
