Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

My first thought was the aniti alias quality need s to go up a little as does the shadow quality.
i think you are using final gather too an it's a little blown out so try playing with the scale.
with HDRI you could most likely get away without any FG which would eleviate the shadow quality problem.
The displacement on the tyres could also do with a bit of work, you might even have to end up modelling the tread .
Hope this doesn't sound too critical as the model is good and could be great with some tweeking of the render settings.

Thanks for the wire (I knew you made it in Maya, I meant polys, nurbs or subdivisions). What is the reason for converting it twice? Benefits etc.

The mesh looks really good. How many different objects is it? Do you keel a lot of the parts seperate, or combine them and merge verts

Thanks,

gubar

Hi gubar i wasnt sure wat u meant.i used polys to start of with modelling it as a whole and den spliting it into diff parts of the car, after spliting each parts i den worked on dem / modified to fit properly, once i was ok i coverted to subD to add creases were necessary. and the reasons y i reversed bak to poly was because it was easy on my graphics and also because i had to use mentalray to render in mentalray with subD's all the creases gets messed up so converting it to poly does the job all i had to do was harden some of the edges to fix minor deforms

hp dis explains or give more light into how i did it
