Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Keep Edges Together?

Is there an option to keep edges together so they dont overlap each other when I extrude them???

but if you scale them sometimes they cross and get messy...

Yea, I had that selected. For some reason I just had multiple vertices. I tried merging multiple edges, but no go. I have got it now. THanks HMan.

My Monkey man for this months contest. I was tryin to fix that helmet, but I think I need to wait until the end when I stitch the two halves together.

Its easer to turn them on in the Attribute editor on the right hand side at the bottom where it says off, just turn it to On.
