This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

character head

hi im practicing ogranic modeling and here is what i came up with.
the modeling method im using is toggle between poly/subd,c/c are welcome.

i did a test render on him. i think im done with the head of this character tho im thinking of if i should bring him into zbrush and work a bit with details etc c/c are welcome.

A very simple, effective and (dare I say) cute head! Reminds me of an evil Ninja Turtle! :-)

Your facial geometry looks pretty good, and you ought to be able to get quite a few expressions out of it!
