This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

To get inspiration, just spin arround 100 times, smoke a joint and what ever you see put it on paper ! and the next day.. just look at what you have draw and go play with maya !

lately... for some reason, everythign resembling Maya Fluids..I just stop and look at it...

At my work, they have this washing maching and when they open the door, steam comes out (LOTS OF IT) and it's amazing to sit there and watch it... later I think how I can make that thing in Maya....

Other times fluids like water, or something else... its pretty fun! user added image

Read a book that hasnt been made into a movie, yet....draw the architecture or characters the way you see it in your head...model it, texture it, and call it a day (or year). user added image

I have an idea

I find watching movies like the other's replies helps alot. I also ask friends what they like. Picking up a copy of Cinefex helps alot to....

I have always been one of those who wants to know "How did they do that..."
